(Hangxin Technology) won the bid for the "Waste Acid Treatment Engineering and Technical Service Project" as part of the collaborative annual production initiative for 300 tons of graphene membrane materials and 100,000 square meters of graphene thermal dissipation films, a joint venture between Zhongke Yueda (Shanghai) Materials Technology Co., Ltd. and Shandong Zhonghong Nanomaterials Co., Ltd.

As a key raw material in the graphene industry, graphene oxide is primarily produced via processes that generate approximately 80-100 tons of waste acid liquor per ton of product. Traditional disposal methods are costly and prone to causing secondary pollution, posing a major bottleneck to the industry's green and large-scale development.
As the first company in China to achieve a complete transformation from patented technology to large-scale engineering application in graphene oxide waste acid treatment, Guangdong Hangxin Technology Co., Ltd. has independently developed the "Full Resource Utilization and High-Value Process for Graphene Oxide Waste Sulfuric Acid Liquor", which has been granted a national invention patent.
This innovative process enables the following key outcomes:
1.Efficient sulfuric acid reuse: Recovers sulfuric acid at a concentration of 92%-95%, allowing it to be directly returned to the production line for a closed-loop raw material cycle.
2.Valuable resource extraction: Converts manganese and potassium in the waste acid residue into industrial-grade manganese carbonate and agricultural-grade ammonium potassium sulfate, truly turning waste into treasure.
3. Clean production throughout the process: Achieves zero process wastewater discharge and compliant waste gas emissions, realizing genuine green circularity.
This project serves as China's first demonstration project for large-scale, resource-oriented treatment of graphene oxide waste acid. It not only establishes a green production closed loop for the client, significantly reducing costs while enhancing efficiency, but also provides a replicable benchmark solution for the entire graphene industry's transition toward "green manufacturing and circular economy".
